Spamina ha lanzado un aviso urgente sobre un nuevo brote de malware distribuido por email con asuntos como \u201cNeed your help!\u201d y \u201cI\u2019m in trouble,\u201d, los cuales contienen hiperv\u00ednculos que llevan al usuario ha p\u00e1ginas web de descarga de malware .<\/p>\n
Estos emails est\u00e1n siendo enviados de forma global en cantidades que superan los 100.000 mensajes al d\u00eda. Este brote de malware ha sido detectado por una de las capa de filtrado de Spamina donde se encuentra el motor de Commtouch.<\/p>\n
Los mensajes pueden variar, pero el objetivo es siempre el mismo: distribuir de malware de forma masiva sin que los usuarios sean conscientes a trav\u00e9s de los hiperv\u00ednculos adjuntados en los emails. La mayor\u00eda de los sitios comprometidos usan WordPress, especializada en la creaci\u00f3n, gesti\u00f3n de contenidos y hospedaje de blogs. WordPress dispone de una gran oferta de plugins que a\u00f1aden funcionalidades a los blogs de forma f\u00e1cil y sencilla sin necesidad de programaci\u00f3n, en muchos casos estos plugins hacen vulnerable a la p\u00e1gina Web e introducen agujeros de seguridad por los que es posible organizar la distribuci\u00f3n del malware sin que los propietarios sean conscientes de ello. Habitualmente el hiperv\u00ednculo lleva a un script oculto en los blogs o p\u00e1ginas webs hospedadas en WordPress que redirige a la p\u00e1gina que contiene el malware.<\/p>\n
